the twin blades are made to keep the torque down low but flow good up high, but the one big opening will flow better all the way but wont keep the torque down low, it is like the straw thing, you can suck water with one straw quick but if you put ten straws in your mouth you will take in more water but not as fast bc you cant suck all of them as fast as you can one, follow me? i read it in a tuning book!

alright thanks, so for just a DD if should probably go with single blade, because torque down low is what i need for a launch. But then again cobras dont hit max hp untill around 6k rpm so maybe i should go higher for higher launchs

Single blade flow more air obviously. I would go with a single blade.

You can find bigger single blade tb's that flow more, but I stick with a twin because the split inbetween the blades acts like wind guide, its increases the intake velocity (trust me, my friend has a 91 vette, and had to stick an aftermarket piece in his trottle body that acts in the same way, increased his air flow) btw excessive air is about as good as excessive header primaries...no good...its all about the tuning

Pick up an Accufab single blade unit, you won't be disappointed.

The twin bore units tend to be a bit smoother in the lower/mid ranges (sub 3k rpm), but you'll certainly notice the big single from 4k up.

you have to modify your intake lid if you want to run a single blade other wise it wont open the TB fully cuz youd be hittin
