We have an Acura TL (270HP) and to tell you the truth.....if my wife and I raced to 70 mph with her driving the Saleen and me driving the TL, I would be so far behind that I wouldn't even be able to read the license plate on my Saleen. I consider the 03 and 04 Cobras in the same company as my S-281E....trust me....you own that guy (even if you don't know it).

Sounds like the Acura owner is similar to those little fish you always see swimming under Great Whites[

]....too afraid of predators to swim out on their own and rightfully so.

Agreed, but driver has some to do with it too. A good driver in a SRT-4 Stage 3 is better than a crappy driver in a stock or pullied(upper 2.93). Just like a crappy driver in a new Z06 is probably a good test for a KB '03 Cobra with a good driver. I see your point though, I know I'd be so far ahead of that guy starting off in 2nd gear that he'd wonder if we were even racing.

THis is only the second time that I am posting in this forum so I hope that it is not a prob. TAKE THE RSX OUT!!! Offer to race from a dig, roll, whatever. You should have no prob. w/ him. The last one that I raced was lightely modded and I took him easily by two cars with my lowly nonPI GT. A terminator should absolutely no problem at all. Practice your launch. All you need is to not COMPLETELY screw up the launch and you should be fine. Make sure to run him w/ lots of people there to witness it. Good luck.

7 you're right I just can't see how he would have a problem with an RSX, even up to 80 MPH from a standstill, The RSX could not Touch him. Solomon just practice your shifting. Ease into that thrrottle. Don't drop the hammer and slam it. You should not experciene to much wheel spin. car for car your's is much faster. just practice your launching. I got your point you blew the doors off the RSX in the top end of the race, but because he got the jump on you in the start he is going around talking crap about how he beat a cobra. Keep practicing it wont even be close the next time.
