High compression and a good set of ported/polished heads...i heard you can put navigator heads on your car but its for minimal gains...its already a better breathing motor, just up the compression (forged and all for strength), an agressive cam and some of the basic valvetrain work and you'll be golden

big bore stroker motor. you can make over 400whp good luck trying to get those number in a n/a 4.6L

dont do a set of ported or polished heads. stock 03 cobra heads will outflow ported 01 heads.

If you're going to spend that much $$$, why do you want to be n/a?

The most cost effective way to convert a GT to 4v is to buy a crate motor:

I've seen 4v crate motors available with ported heads and a Whipple blower for $15k. SHM sells a Cobra crate motor with a KB s/c for $17.5k.

the mach 1 heads are very good and you can have them ported and polished, will it stroked to 5.0 and higher comp, and good heads and cam you can easily have 400 hp

I got a comparison somewhere that says the B series heads (96-98) will outflow the others...just bolt up a set of Ford GT heads and call it good[8D]
