450 w/ gears is alot IMO.. I havea buddy w/ an 04 Cobra that is pullied, dyno tuned, exhaust and an air intake.. We've raced several times and each time we are dead even untill I hit 4th gear.. Then I start to pull on him untill I run out of gear..
I'm happy to hang with a moded 04 Cobra.. Good enough for me IMO..

The 03/04 cobras can handle a good bit of hp. I have 450 rwhp and have had no problems. seen plenty of people with same mods as me and have their superchargers ported putting out 500 rwhp and the engine is fine and have not heard of many problems. a lot depends how hard you run your engine. If your ***** to the wall all the time then of course your engine will wear a lot quicker. your main problems will arise when doing bonsai runs.....running out 5th and 6th gear. the supercharger gets extremely hot and will run a high risk of blowing your 7th or 8th cylinder.

you can 440rwhp EASY. 450 is even safe. The blocks are underated and i would stay at 8psi to be safe on stock internals. You could probally push 10 but with 8 psi on a stock motor your at 420 to the wheels and with a mild cam around 440-450.
