ok.. so ive seen many 1996 mystic cobras with the passenger side cobra emblem facing the front of the car.. but i recently bought one and the emblem is facing the back... i looked at the pictures of them on google, and only a few had them facing the back, bt most had them facing forward.. why are the cobra emblems facing the rear of the vehicle on only a few mystic cobras?

 

I've never noticed or really looked. I looked at some 96 and 03/04 pics and they all face forward.

either the idiots at the factory screwed up or most likely the car was painted and when they put them back on they put them on the wrong sides. I would definately look into it more. You can always change them back if it was from the factory. Look in the wheel wells to see if theres any over spray also make sure you do a carfax.

 

i did one before i bought it.. and it came out clean.. and i looked in the wheel wells.. and there is no paint in them.. but ive heard that if the Chameleon color paint jobs are damaged.. they have to strip the whole car and paint it all over so it all matches.. is that true?
