Default Supercharging 96 cobra

Gonna run 10psi 3 core intercooled procharger on my 96, gonna have a tune for 400 rwhp, just wondering if anyone pushes that kind of power with the stock motor and how it holds up

Default RE: Supercharging 96 cobra

Man, the way I have always heard it, you can only run 6 to 8 psi safely on a motor that has as high a compression... not to mention not having the strongest internals... I have been wanting to get the Kenne Bell 2.1 liter for ourmodelofcobra... I don't know what kind of HP it will put out other than the 1.7 liter supercharger is supposed to be good for 440 at the motor... I would be be happy to eventhrow down 350 to 360 to the rear wheels myself (that are shown to dyno with the 1.7 litre)...at least for a while.
