Default MAC Straight Shot- Anyone have it?

I currently have the Densecharger setup with the stock maf on my 96 cobra. The only other full CAI other than the MAC I've seen for my car is the WMS High Velocity (no way am I paying $400 for a CAI). The MAC Straight Shot comes with a new 80 mm Maf, but that is what the cobra comes with stock. My question is will it out weigh the performance of my black rubber and plastic Densecharger to get a new Maf that is calibrated to work with the MAC. The cost of the MAC is $280, fairly cheap in comparison to the WMS, still pricey for a CAI but all performance parts are so...... Thanks for the suggestions Guys

Default RE: MAC Straight Shot- Anyone have it?

I just got one installed yesterday with a CL Plenum and Mac Throttle body on my 2003 GT Convertible. All I can say is Holy $hit! I am only comparing to stock though. I do not think it is that loud, though when you first hit the throttle you can hear a little whisp sound. At full throttle you can definitely hear it. My sensor light came on after driving for ten miles and has not gone off. I plan on finishing the rest of my mods and taking it to a dyno shop for a tune and custom chip. They claim 27 rear wheel HP on this mod and I have to agree it feels like it. I still haven't put on my pulleys, Pro Chamber or Cat back system yet which I expect to bring out the full potential with a good tune. I got the MAC Straight Shot for $209 from Mustangwarehouse.
