Default Ported TB/Plenum

I put it on the car last night. I can definately tell a difference! The Eaton just whines it's a$$ off now. The rpm's really build up quick, and the throttle response alone is worth buying it.

Very happy with it. Here are a few pics of the old and new ones together. Sorry if the quality is bad.

I forgot to add,

If any of you 03-04 Cobra owners have been hesitant about a TB/Plenum upgrade, this is supposed to be fine.

Most of the hanging idle issues associated with aftermarket units have been linked to the return springs on the linkage. This unit is supposed to flow as much as the others with none of the problems.

It's also half the price!

I doubt it.

The guy that tuned my car said that the mid-pipe was good for ~ 7-9 RWHP, and the TB/Plenum about the same. The TB/Plenum shines through the mid-range though.

Even with taking the extremes, that would only add 18 to the 471 on the dyno.

I suppose that he could probably tune some more out, but I think I'm pretty much done with adding power mods. I have got to get this thing to hook up now.

Yeah, the only way to get to 500 with a stock Eaton is to port the TB, Plenum and the Eaton. Now your talking. Who did your porting and how much did you pay for it? I was thinking of doing all 3 at the same time, but the $800 price tag and the work of pulling the Eaton has kind of put a damper on it...That and having the downtime of probably 2 or more weeks waiting for it to get done.
