Has anyone ever found a set of magnaflow magnapacks (catback) for the irs cobra? I had them on my GT and i loved the sound they made with the prochambers. And id like to get that sound out of my cobra.

 

no they don't make magnapacks for the cobras with IRS. You have to buy a regular magnaflow and just change out the mufflers. Its been so long but, I know you can just buy the magnapack mufflers seperately.

 

You cannot buy a cat-back for any IRS Cobra for Magnapacks.

You will have to buy the Magnapacks individually and have some MINOR pipe-bending done.

 

I had my muffler shop install the magnapacks with all new 2.5 inch tubing custom bent around the IRS. I also got rid of the stupid stock H pipe and put in a flowmaster scavenging x pipe. Sounds better than my GT with the magnapack full cat back. I love the magnapacks!

 

I LOVE MY MAGNAPACKS TOO. I think im going to just get a shop to replacate my exhaust exacept 2.5 pipe.

 

I have a bassani midpipe with magnaflow mufflers, and love it, sounds great. I didnt realize there were problems with installing them. when i had it done they just made it happen and didnt seem like it was a big deal
