Ok people I'm looking into getting a '03 COBRA or a SALEEN a person is offering a 1999 Saleen S281 Coupe 15,350 miles and wants around $18-20K.

My questions are:

1- Is this carreally worth the $18-20K?
2- Will I have to start putting money into maintence allready?
3- Do you think its a good deal? or ShouldI just try to gett a '03 SVT COBRA?

I would get the Cobra! Why? It's supercharged, unless the Saleen has a supercharger. Some do and some don't. I'm not a big fan of Salleen's but they are collectable. SVT FTW!

 

Thanks for the info if I do decide to gett a SVT COBRA then for shure one of my first mods will be a "kenne bell supercharger"

 

I would get the cobra because it comes with a s/c and forged internals. The saleen is just a 2V SOHC GT motor that will blow if you put more than 6 pounds of boost on it...
