Im intalling a smalley pulley and idler on my 04 cobra...im going with a 2.8 size pulley and a 100mm idler....i was wondering if anyone new what size belt i need?????...i just got the pulley tool and i was wondering if it was hard to install the pulley and idler myself...hopefully my cousin who is a mechanic is with me to assist me with the pulley switch....please help

i would think the stock belt shoud work fine, I have the 2.76 pulley along with the idler set, i went to a 74 5/8 belt and it is tight as a mother, i wouold thing the stock 75.1 would be your best bet since thats the next size up.

it is simple to do yourself, just remove the 2 screws that hoult the pulley cover in place, follow the dirctions on the removal tool to get the pulley off, once its on there right it is just a bunch of turning the bolt till it comes loose, then you reverse the process to put the new pully on. the idler bracket getsscrewed intothe holes for the pulley cover. should look like this.
