i know this is alittle late but i just bought it and how do you know if the recall has been done? ive seen some thing about a blue or green dot on the intake mainfold? is that true. i also went to the dealer and got a report of the things that were done under warranty and there was only a broken clutch pedal.

 

as for the blue or green dot on my 99 have yet to be found its not on mine but i just contacted svt and said it had been recalled so it got the fix on mine so

 

Contact SVT or any Ford dealership and give them your VIN # and they will be able to tell you if your snake was even apart of the first 60% of the cars produced that year. If its in the later 40%, the mods have already been done. Only the first 60% of the cobras made for 99 were affected. I called a ford dealership near me and asked them.

 

mine much be in the 40 % because i got the history on it and its never been done and i called and it has no recalls.it was build in like april of 1999
