Today I looked at an 03 cobra and a couple days ago I looked at a 99 cobra that was supercharged with a kennebell on it which one do you guys think I should go with the 99 or the 03?

 

i would personally go with the 99 supercharged cobra

 

What is the Cost & Mileage of both?

 

If you dont care about mileage, go with the 99 and the kenne bell. Mileage wont matter with mustangs, its all about how it was driven. A car that has 120,000 miles on it but was babied...is awsome. however a car with 40,000 thats dogged everyday is bad juju.

 

99 is a better bet. its lighter and its more fun to suprise an 03 owner

 

the 99 will be much cheaper too.. you should be able to boost 9lbs all day on it and make 450Rwhp on the stock engine.

if thats not good enough for you and .if your handy you might be able to atleast do some of the work of swaping out the rods and pistons for forged units and you should be able to boost like the 03 guys can... Thats the main weak link is the rods and pistons on the non supercharged engine.

the amber inserts in the tail lights add 50 rwhp 99 is a little more unique

 

i would go 03, depending on the cost of each, and what you are looking to do with the car.

 

Go with the 03 just because with the 99 whats next as for speed? Yah it might be as fast or a bit faster than the 03 but the 03 has soooooo much room for mods. Also im pretty sure the 99's rods are prone to giving out (may be wrong?) but 03's naa good for more than 700 at the wheels prob more. Give up the extra cash right now and save some down the road.
