Problems
Greetings all, I am a new member. I have a 2001 Mustang Cobra and purchased it bone stock. The only mods I have included thus far is a BBK cold air, underdrive pulleys, flowmaster mufflers and a twin 62mm BBK throttle body. I believe the BBK t/b might be causing me problems. When I first installed it a week ago, things seemed to run fine, but as of yesterday, I noticed on the way to work, mainly when I first start driving, under normal acceleration, I experience sputtering. This morning, the sputtering seemed to get worse and now the shift stick sometimes vibrates. I'm real concerned. Anyone have any thoughts - I welcome as much input as possible. Thanks!

RE: Problems
I'm pretty sure there is a modification tha needs to be done for the twin blade Throttle bodies to open all the way properly on the 01 cobra becuase of our intakes. So if you just bolted it on on I would recomend taking it off ASAP. Plus it's total waste of time and moneyin the first place, you'll get a maximum of like 3 HP if your lucky. It's a very dubious mod IMO.

RE: Problems
That's what I was thinking about doing. It looks like I'll be taking it off tomorrow when I get back in town. I have some more mods coming - an x-pipe with high flo cats and mid-length headers - both Bassani. I hope this problem goes away, although I have to go to a dyno shop and get everything dyno tuned. I hope that'll help make the car run like it should with the mods. Thanks!

RE: Problems
I just saw your mods and I have to ask - where did you get your aluminum drive shaft? It seems like everywhere I look, they don't make them for the 01 cobra - I've had no luck. I'm assuming there is a piece you need to buy with it to make it fit? I'm not sure.
