dyno harm?
so im going to get a dyno next thursday. My dad says this is putting alot of stress on my engine but is it really going to hurt it? Im going to have them go around 6200 rpm to see where im at. He talks to me like im retarded when i talk about these things, im running full synthetics through the engine. just let me know
it can be hard on a car which is why they make you sign a waiver beforehand. basically you are putting just about th most stress possible on your engine. as long as the car is well maintained it should be totally fine. in essence a dyno pull is just about the same as redlining on the street just the car stays still.
