one of my friends just got a 100 octane tune and it didn't add much power at all.
I own a Dyno jet and tune cars all the time the hp that he has is about normal on pump fuel I have seen as much as 25 hp increase just by adding race fuel with no extra tuning and 11hp on torqo. however if you tune on race fuel you will see even more.. 480-510 is normal for this combo. you guys have no idea what plugs this guys has or even what dyno this was done on. I would say by the number it was a dyno jet ( this is the best for tuning and actual numbers) he mention he wanted it to be a safe tune I would say that is safe depending on the AFR. as for the guy with a 2.76 making 490 hp ... I would never buy this car because that is past the ragged edge. I would venture to say that this is also a race fuel only tune. congrats on the number let us know what she does on the track Dan
actually the guy on the 2.76 has a fairly conservative tne for 92 octane, he runs on 21 degrees of timing only, that is with a stage 4 port and 2.76 upper, he is only one of a few guys around that range around here.
