Default got it back

hey just got bakc my 01 cobra bought it thinking it was stock it turnd out it has a tri-ax shifter ne headers pullrys exhaust tune enginr work pistons heads ect.. it has i think a ford 9 inch or 8.8 read with 4.10s whta woud be the rwhp for this car and what would you suggest i do for more

Go 8.8. Great setup and you can beat the hell out of it.

really? I mean I guess it makes sense cause its bigger but I've just heard everyone rant and rave about 8.8, and from my own personal experience its been great for me.. maybe I should check into a 9 too.

a 9" is stronger but an 8.8" should handle anything you plan on doing...unless your going sub 9's or something super serious, you dont need to drop the $$$ in a 9"

As for how much hp...engine work could be anything from just forging, to an all out high compression N/A monster...you'd have to be way more specific for any hint at hp ratings

If you want to do more, you can charge it (if you supercharge it you'll have to get rid of the pullies) or you can beef up that IRS you got there (btw, its an 8.8") or loose some weight with k-member etc...since you've got the basics of the motor taken care of, its pretty much suspension, brakes and drivetrain left.
