Clutch Recommendations? Spec2 vs. CFDF
I need to replace my stock clutch soon and want some input. I'm looking for an aftermarket product that will lighten the pedal stiffness some and handle up into the 500hp range. Thekey isit is my daily driver so I need something I can slip in and out of...I dont want to hear chatter everytime I take off easy out of first.
Ithink the Spec 2 or Centerforce DF would be best...any thoughts?

you dont lek the stiffness???
love the stiffness! makes it so much more badass. IMO anyway.
I put a ford racing clutch in mine, but thats probably way too stiff for you. Still a great clutch though, absolutely no slippage. Perfect pressure plate.

The ford racing clutch would def not suit me as I need something that can slip.

lol my clutch is entirely aftermarket.
ive felt the clutch in the terminators, and mine is harder.
Yes hard traffic will get your leg shaking after aout 5 minutes, but you build up tolerance to it after awhile. I dont even feel mine now.
personally I'd rather have really hard springs on the plate, so I can get the best out of my clutch, rather then a loose slip n slide type clutch. Yuck [:'(]

well i will let you know my old clutch was a centerforce and it was way crappy. Stiff is good but too stiff and slips also is not good. Centerforces are actually not ballanced either. I haver herd a lot of horrible stories from centerforce clutches. I do like my spec stage 3 it does chatter a bit but thats what happes sometimes with puck clutches. Dude go with a spec all the way. And id say go with the 2+ make room for mods later, cool man take it easy...
