Do the pprv valve removal and you will fix the hesitation instantly.
This is incorrect. Poeple jumped on this bandwagon way too quickly and found out that it did not always fix the problem. This is tune related. You should get rwtd to tune your car with his fix. Also, being tuned via SCT rather than a predator is the best option.

Not neccessarily tune related, its is because of the pprv. Theres a big write up about it on modular fords. It didnt happen to me until I did the BAP I havent had a chance to take out the pprv yet.

it is both, sometimes the tune will fix it sometimes it won't i have seen both cases, when tuning fails it is the pprv.

Theres also a big write up on that same forum about it being fixed in the tune. I for one, would like to take the "easier" approach before ripping my gas tank off, taking parts off that were there for a reason and hoping that it all works right when you put it back together. Not to mention, messing around gas fumes is not a high priority on my list. But more power to your choice. Life is full of them.

Why did that star out what I said it was svtp as svtperformance.com not a bad word just letting you know. Yea but if you have a BAP it will hesitate and you cant fix that in the tune. ive never heard of cars hesitating at a certain HP level but o well. The pprv is what will take care of it, and if your going to upgrade your fuel lines or put gt pumps in you might as well do it then.

+1 if you got the time and cash may as well swap out the pumps. the only reason i mentioned the hp level was because that is generally the point at which peole do install fuel system upgrades such as a bap that is all.it has nothing to do with the actual number as much as the fuel demand to make such an amount of hp.

rwtd did tune my car and the hesitation remained. I removed the valve and it is all good now.

Yep! Check the tune FIRST. Most cases I am personally aware of the problem was fixed in the tune. If it doesn't end up being the tune, you move on to the next possibility. Obviously there are people here who found it wasn't in the tune. But always chase down the easier sources first IMO.
