so i am going to work my *** off to save enough money to get an SVT 03 cobra engine to replace my V6. but i know that they didnt make a cobra in 2000 so I am a little afraid that the engine won't fit. Could someone please tell me if it would? thanx guys

the engine will fit, not sure if you will need a new k-member or not though

Yes it will fit, but you are going to need a heck of alot more than just the motor. You'll need the related wiring and ECU, full fuel system,clutch and tranny (if your car is an automatic, you'll have to do a full manual swap), driveshaft, new rear axle, new front springs/struts. You'll also want to upgrade your front brakes while you are doing it.

if its auto i dont think you need a manual swap maybe just a stronger auto tranny, for the power, and a differant flexplate

Might as well just buy a terminator and save yourself a nightmare.

thats a horrable idea, save up and buy an 03 04,at the end of the day it will always be a v6. If i were you sell your v6 mustang and buy an 03
