I wonder why (if you can read boost on a dyno) that the only way every cobra tuner i've talked to says you have to get the overlay if you want to know your max boost or an aftermarket gauge, because Ford didn't incorporate a way to read that on a dyno..... You must have a special tuner, or they have a special dyno..

No shame man... just some practice and good tires is whats keepin you from running faster I would bet. If we can get some more guys in their 99 and 01 cobras it would be better.

they have a dyno dynamics ie the expensive dyno if that makes a difference, but whe i run over there, i even get a sheet showing my boost curve just like i get for horse power, tourque and air fuel ratio, i will try and take a pic of it with my cam later today if you want, not sure how good it will turn out though, and i have no scanner.

I dont doubt you at all... however, the way Ford setup our cars.. The only thing I would really trust is an actual gauge hooked up correctly... I understand how boost works... but with your combo your 14psi is very low...

i thought so too, nut then again so is my power number, at least i think so. i was expecting closer to 17 psi or so.

+1 on this... you honestly should be running more than 14#'s if you have a 2.93 upper and 4# lower. Thats the equivalent of a 2.8 upper and a 2# lower and I know thats more than 14#'s.
