Default a 99 cobra

Ok, first off i know this year was a very unstable year, but that beside the point. im about to buy a 99 cobra that has had ungodly amounts of work done on suspension and engine. all forged lower, CAI ported and polished heads, full exhaust, diablo tune to 93 octane, stiffer suspension, lowered 1 1/2", short throw shifter and a lot of other stuff that i havent had time to check out yet, but the guy said he was running 413rwtq and 460rwhp, is this possible?
I'm gonna buy this car so it doesnt matter if he's lying or not, b/c after im done with it it'll be looking @ #'s closer to 550-600hp/tq.
how easy is it to make this kind of cobra "deadly"?

It's possible, butI'd ask for receipts for the work done and dyno sheets for power verification. Once the sheets are in hand, I'd call the shop that did the pulls and verify. That's a LOT of N/A horsepower. It's possible, but I'd definitely verify it.

Withforged guts and ported 4V heads, the sky is the limit on power. Any type of forced induction on something like that would definitely qualify as "deadly."

Good luck, but I sure wish you'da landed that Mach! Call me bias though

About 3k to 4k if you due alot of the work yourself ie.. pull & install motor, pull the old guts out, remove & istall heads etc......

Seems a bit high if all you're doing is adding forged internals. How did you come to that?
Granted, most of us would think, "While I'm in here, I might as well do THIS and if I'm going to do THAT, I might as well add THIS." And so it goes. And before you know it, you've got yourself a raunchy bill. [:@]

But $3-4K just to forge the internals seems steep.

A good set of pistons alone goes for about 1K.

I'm not disbelieving, just thought it'd be cheaper that that. I'll look for some links as well...maybe we can help the guy.
