Default 2003 Pulley Questions

On my 03 Cobra I wanted to change the pulley so I bought the 3.10" pulley from mustang tuning. Anyways, Im sure the question has been asked and I did a search for it and was not very successful, but before I dig into changing it, does anyone have some good directions to follow and any tips to taking the old one off and pressing the new one on? Thanks.

Epd.. if you're going to change it on your own get a pulley puller... also, GET A RETUNE!... however, you won't see as much boost as you would've from a smaller one like a 2.93, 2.81 or a 2.76... also, before installing that pulley - you may want to wait and find an intake, because both modifications really require a retune unless you want to detonate something.

You may not need one, but it's always advised, because if it goeslean or misses you can blow your motor. Besides you won't gain much hp with just the pulley that size, without a tune. Dont cheap out... get a better pulley and a tune or atleast a tune with the smaller pulley.

Don't cheap out when it comes to these boosted motors. It's never a good idea.

you will definitly need a tune to see much from a 3.1, i would have gone to a 2.76 or 2.81 personally. you shold plan on getting a tune though.

OP, definitely looking into getting something smaller than a 3.1 (unless you plan on running a bigger lower). You won't see much of a gain. The 2.93 or smaller will get you GOOD HP and TQ gains. IMHO, go 2.76 and don't look back. You'll love it.
