Default best year for the sn95 cobra?

whats the best year for the sn95 cobra? i ask this because i plan on getting a sn95 cobra and supercharing and using it as a daily driver. the 94 - 95 years interest me because the parts are cheap and ive been told the 5.0l'shave more potential than the 4.6l's. please help, thanks!

5.0s are cheaper, they defenitely dont have as much potential.

i agree...... for th most part with not as much potential. i would say the 98 was the better of them all, i have one and love it, the thing rips and it is pretty much stock except for suspension and cat back

I guess it depends on what you want. However I like my 96. put some 4.30's in one and you will have a blast.

Well, everybody loves their cobras lol, it just depends on what you're after. Personally, I would take the 4.6 any day of the week, I agree with Italia but hey the 50's are sick too. I absolutely love my 99 it rips, drives great, itscreams and pisses off old people. Although, I will soon be upgrading to a terminator, if you have the money that is for sure the way to go, either that or a Z06.

im tired of hearing all this "302s are cheaper to build" bs. NOT TRUE.32v 4.6 DOHC is UNDOUBTEDLY the better engine.think about it people, for a GOOD H/C/I on a 5.0 youre looking at about 3gs when its all said and done, supposing youre not using ****ty parts like fords alphabet cams or GT-40 heads. heads (AFRs - 1300), intake manifold (~450), TB(200) MAF(150) injectors(200) fuel pump(150) cam(250) rockers(250). it gets expensive. and for what, 300rwhp????? **** that, sn95 cobras come with300hp, and with that money you could have done had it supercharged. Oh, and guess what, if you even wanna think aboutthrowing a supercharger on top of that andgoing past 450-500 hp, you gotta stress about cracking your block right down the lifter valley. OOPS, theres another 3gs for a block that can actually handle power.

just my .2
