Which is better, Hypertech power programer III, SCT programer, or DIABLO SPORT PREDITOR PROGRAMMER

 

all a matter of opinion. my advise is to see what local shops that dyno tune in your area prefer, makes it easier when getting a custom tune done. i personally use an sct xcalbrator2

+4.....I've heard Diablo is tougher to tune/get right. Therefore, you can end up payingfor an hour more of dyno tuning time. Probably not worth the savings of buying Diablo over SCT. My$0.02

 

I use the SCT Pro Racers Package.
SCT is the best hands down.

 

I know someone that has a SCT chip 5500 B. How much will that help my car?

 

There are 2 ways to load a tune. By flashing the PCM with a hand held tuneror via a plug-in chip.

Plugging a chip in that someone has is not the way to go. You need a custom tune for your car burned to the chip or flashed to the PCM.
