hey im taking my car out to the drag strip tomorrow and i have never raced a car like this one before. i was just wondering whats a good launch rpm and what are good shifting rpms?

Probably gonna have to ride the Clutch just a little so the tires are barely holding traction but not quite spinning. BTW keep your RPM's up and shift hard!!!
I would launch at about 3,200-3,500 RPM's. Should be running through the traps in 3'rd around 100 MPH's if your pretty close to stock. Good luck.

 

depends on the track tires and the way you drop your clutch... You will start to get a feel for it after a few tries.

 

i was wonderig what gear people were trapping in the 99s.before i had the juice i was about 5000 in 4th. that is amazng.
