need your thoughts?
I changed out my blower pulley the other day and took the car out to work etc.. everything seemed fine, but on my way home that afternoon i noticed a sound coming from the blower, kinda hard to describe but its almost like something is rubbing. you can hear it "whirring" at idle sounds like it may be coming from the inside of the snout or in the front half of the blower body. i also noticed that the pulley it self gets extremely hot, hotter than the blower itself even and at a rather quick pace. Any ideas? is it safe to take the the show/cruise? anyone expierience anything similar? TIA
What did you use to pull the pulley?? You might have that on wrong... its getting hot because its rubbing something and thats where the noise is coming from possibly... Friction = heat and noise...
The other side is... is if you didn't pull the pulley off straight you could've messed up the snout of your blower....

it was a quick change the hub was already in place, i pulled the old type one a long time ago, i found out that the BF pulley and motoblue hub screw holes are off by just a hair, causig the screws to go in tweaked just a tiny bit which had the pulley turning a bit crooked, i got it all fine now. thanks
