What exhaust to go with???

I dont like really raspy exhaust, but the louder the better.....what do you guys suggest??

Get a SLP Loudmouth and SLP o/r X pipe, you won't be disappointed!

Egads, now you're talking LOUD! LOL! My advice is to try to find Mustangs in your area with different setups that you can actually listen to. Taking advice without actually hearing the setup can result in wasting money. Been there. Done that. I originally went with a recommended Magnaflow catback with a Magnaflow catted X-pipe. Raspy as hell! And a horrific drone between 1900-2200 rpms. A week later I replaced the catback with a Steeda catback. Another recommendation, but this one worked. The result was a mid noise level, no raspiness, and no drone. And I'd recommend you also hear an aftermarket catted H-pipe (or off road version) like the MRT. I say this because the X-pipe has a different sound than the stock H-pipe. More exotic. The MRT retains what I call the classic Mustang muscle sound. Just louder. Best of luck.

 

I have a Bassani with X pipe and its a little raspy. Hope this helps.
