Default 2001, and 2003-2004 engine experts needed!

hey guys, I can get a really good deal on a stock low mile supercharger setup from a 03-04 cobra. Includes the injectors and throttle body also. would it be a direct bolt on to my 2001 motor? what else would I need? Thankyou guys very much!

So, you want to take a supercharger and it's set-up off an 03/04 Cobra and put it on an 01 motor. Good luck, do a search on the swap. It's not worth it! The pistons and rods won't be able to handle the boost.

Please stop giving advice on this. Please. Just stop.

As 01 snake mentioned, there's a few guys over at svtperformance who have done it for less than $2500 withawesome results.

yes, can be done and like said, done fairly cost effectively.... BUT there is a LOT of **** to buy and you have to find hellish deals on all of it or you will blow the budget. Simple answer to the question is it IS NOT adirect bolt-on.

Good luck trying to do it for 2500, and most of those guys with 01 Cobra are running turbos or vortech/prochargers, and are doing it right!

That's not the point. He asked if it could be done. It can be done and about 80% of it is direct bolt on. I've seen more 99s and 01s over there with Eaton swaps than turbos.

Find a wrecked 03 donor and you can do it for less than $2000....
