Default fuel problems

i have a 2003 cobra and i was ont he way to mustang week in myrtle beach, sc when my car started hesitating. after about two miles it cut off and hasn't started since. i had just filled the car with gas and went through a drive though car wash. the fuel pump insnt turning on when the ignition is on. i took the pump out and it works fine. i checked the fuses too. im pretty much stumped as to what it could be. any help would be appreciated.

Default RE: fuel problems

check your fuel filter. Our cars freak out if there is a lack of air of fuel... So here is the deal put your fuel pump in turn your ignition on and check your fuel rails for fuel pressure push the little (dont know the correct term) pressure release it looks like a tire stem on your fuel rail on the passenger side. If fuel comes out pretty strong then get a pressure tester for the fuel rail and see if your in the right pressure range. If a small ammount of fuel comes out change your fuel filter and re-test. If new fuel comes out then its somewhere along the lines of a fuel pump or a random clogged line? try that first

Check in your trucnk on the driver's side behind the carpet, there is a reset button back there.
