First off it all depends on the drivers a driver is everything!!! C5 normal vette will get walked by stock 03-04 cobra. Z06's it all depends on the years 01 z06 has 385hp and 385 tq so they are in the same range and the cobra has a better tq curve so that one would be pretty close. But the cobra will lose to 03-04 z06 and the c6 z06 thats it. And lastly the c6 normal will beat the cobra. That is all with the same driver in both cars so that is just how the cars would perform.

you can't compare them... its like comparing apples to oranges... the vette has better handeling... the z06s are faster, with a bigger motor... and its around 500lbs lighter...

With that said, the cost is obviously higher for the vette.... go drive a corvette... but you can't really compare them fairly... they're two different worlds...

^and your assuming they are all stock. they ALL respond very well to mods. A couple grand into any one of them can throw the whole thing off again.

Nothing a ported blower and smaller pulley can't fix.

While you can, I don't think those engines are very boost friendly....

they arn't. Ls engines pistons turn to powder with boost or no2. And ls1 2's and6's have crappy rod bolts that don't hold up to anything over 500 at the wheels or 6500 rpm. Not a chance for the sc...
