well i just got a lil upset after i told u that the 96 cobra block wouldnt handle that much power, u accused me of smoking some crap. especially since i knew i was right.

I accused you of smoking some crap not over the engine, but over the 1/8 mile not being a race, but a traction issue... Around here that is all we race is the 1/8 mile, andthe 1/8is what everyone around here builds their car for.....
no hard feelings. time to move on, lol!

Yes move on, but to clear this up, the stock 96-98 cobra can NOT handle 600 rear wheel horse and thats that, 450 rear wheel horse on that motor is really pushing it.

you would toast your bottom end, tranny and possibly everything else except the engine block in a heartbeat. Forge the bottom end, drop in a built tranny and beef up the axles and you might last.
u r 100% correct but one of the guys on this forum swears to me that his friends car had this setup!! i laugh at him!!!! and totally call BS!!
NO he had it.

for about 10 sec. of all out[sm=roll.gif]

haha ya i agree with you right when he went into boost is when the rods made windows in the block and waved ba bye

btw svt_97cobra. i know we already dropped the issue of how much a 96 cobra block can handle, but i noticed in the other thread that u called me slow, and that u were sorry i drove a slow car. well maybe u havent clicked the link in my sig, but i bet if i gave u a 15 car head start in the 1/4 mile track, i will still beat u.

Go for it if you wanna see what an engine looks like blowing up on a dyno.
