Default would this combo not explode??

some guy says this:

STOCK 96 cobra motor with over 100k miles
19 lbs of boost on a vortech
plus nitrous!!

would this combo hold up, even on the best of tunes??
and yeah, stock bottom end with over 10:1 compression.

you would toast your bottom end, tranny and possibly everything else except the engine block in a heartbeat. Forge the bottom end, drop in a built tranny and beef up the axles and you might last.

LOL HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL NOOOOOOOOOOOO, the stock block can push about 420 rear wheel horse safely anything over that and kiss a rod goodbye with a few redlines, and with a good tune u can make 420 rear wheel horse with bolt ons and 10 psi, that swhat im making, the 19 pounds of boost alone will trhrow a rod right out your oilpan probably on ur first pull on the dyno, nitrous on top of that LOLZ, you need a built motor to handle something like that.

doesnt matter how how good a tune is either , whoever said that is a dumb ***, the motor can only handle so much power, period. no matter how good the tune is, that 19 pounds of boost and nitrous would probably make 600 rear wheel if not more depending on the nitrous shot, so i dont know what that guys idea of a good tune is, pull out as much timming as mechaniccaly possible and pray for the best

Ok guys, i'm the one that he is talking about... And I dont swear to anyone about anything.. I asked a buddy of mine to race awhile back, and he told me it would be a waste of my time.. I asked why would it be a waste, and he said that he has the exact same setup as me, but with 19psi, and a small shot of nitrous, and is making over 600rwhp and well over 600rwtq on the stock block.. Well he pops his hood, and I seehis vortechs/c, and I see his nitrous solenoid, so I asked no questions...

I accused you of smoking some crap not over the engine, but over the 1/8 mile not being a race, but a traction issue... Around here that is all we race is the 1/8 mile, andthe 1/8is what everyone around here builds their car for.....
