Has anyone had problems with there throwout bearing going out on them. Just wondering if there is a better replacement part out there and where do you find it and about how much is it?

My friend's 04 Cobra's throwout bearing went bad. Are you sure it's the bearing? It kinda sounds like a squirrel or little bird chirping under your car when it goes out. The stock Cobra piece is pretty good, it's metal compared to the plastic ones in GTs. If it really is the TB, you might be able to find a better replacement (I dont know of any off the top of my head), but I think the stock one is pretty strong, consider just a new stock one.

 

not sure about a replacement part yet, but mine is going out also, just planning to replace it when i do the clutch here soon.
