Default lowering a 2001 corba

i have a 2001 cobra and i am looking to lower it 1.5 inches and i was wondering if my tires would rub.on the *** end i have 295/40/18 and on the frount i have 275/40/18. plz let my kno before i do anything. thanks.

It won't rub. What kind of springs are you looking at?

what is the stock tire size on your car?.if you have 245/45/17 stock on 8 inch wide rims. the next size should be either 265/38/18 or 275/35/18 for the front on a 9 inch wide rim and 295/35/ 18 or315/35/18 in the rear on a 10 in wide rim.at least that's what saleen does on their cars.i know guys with the cobras with irs they have to shave one of the bolts in the rear and roll the fenders.
