I have decided to set 400hp as my goal to reach from my 94 cobra in terms of power. I recently bought a chip and intake and the chip is some sort of sepcialty chip that can be bought in 3 stages ranging from stage 1 which i got gives 30-40 hp to stage 3 which is actually adjustable to how modded your motor is.i figure after all this i might be at 300 maybe 310 if im lucky due to the somewhat uncanny abildty this chip claims on giving. I dont want to touch the motor what so ever, seeing as how i have the gt40 heads and intake manifold stock, but headers and throttle bodie are a must as well. Injectors seem neccesary but i would have no idea what type of size to buy. then theres the exausht. with all of those being done is it possible to achieve 400 hp or at least close to? thank you

 

I hate to break this to you but a chip and intake is not going to put you close to 400, not even 310. I saw on a previous post that you got the chip off ebay, I doubt that it will give you 40hp like they say, maybe like 10hp. I not bashing you, I am just telling you the facts. I too would like to see me cobra hit the 400 mark, for me I plan on adding AFR 165 to my setup, and a blower. Dont know which to get first though, probly the heads. I've done a little work on mine so far and from the stuff Ive add am now around the 300-310 mark, but this is just an estimation. If you really want close to 400 right now, get a blower or juice, that will be the quickest way to
