I have a 01 Cobra, stock except exhaust, springs and intake. I have never touched the clutch, but I am looking to do a clutch job because I think its going bad. I have no idea what to get for it. I don't plan on putting a lot more horsepower on it so I don't need to get anythink heavyduty.
But I need to know what brand, what parts or kitandwhere to get it...I checked on Ebay, how good are the kits on Ebay?
I swear by Centerforce. I had a Centerforce II in my 96 GT and LOVED it! Maintains the stock pedal feel and has 60% grip better than stock. For what your looking @ I think this would be a great choice for your application. Spec's are good from whatI hear but I've never used one or driven on one so IDK what direction to point you when it comes to them, but you can't go wrong w/ the Centerforce...
What website can I check out this centerforce stage 2 kit? And about how much would it cost for a tech to install this kit? if anyone has experience here...
Just google Centerforce Clutches. I got mine done at an overpriced shop in my GT for $750 for parts and labor so you can get it done cheaper im sure...
