Default Need help

A few days ago my buddy from work came by the house to tint my windows on my Termie, and of course he wanted to go for a spin. It was real hot that day over 90 in the shade, and the car felt weak on the power, anything above 4,000 rpm. almost like it was missin. I really didn't let it bother me to much I though it was because it was so damn hot out. Well today I got it out of the garage after work to wash it and when I got on the highway it ran like crap again anything over 4k. I was like wtf? It was only like 70 ishoutside. Then I cleaned it up and ran the **** out of it on the way home and it ran great. Any ideas?

well if it was hot enough outside, ur ecu is gonna pull out a lot of timing, which will make ur car noticeably slower, just for safety purposes. but in cooler temperatures, it will increase the timing, which is going to make ur car feel a lot more powerful.

lol. Thanks, It should be fine. I do have one problem, I have a exhaust leak in the pass front where the stock H-pipe bolts to the manifold, but i dont think thats the problem. I'm sure I am lossing some power from that though.
