I've been looking at a number of teminators, but the price is killing me and came across a 01 cobra, some minor upgrades, nothing big but i founf out he has Nos in it and claims to have only blown it twice. Is it a big deal? How badly will this have affected the motor?

 

depends on how big a shot, and if the proper safety precautions were used.more than likely your fine. if your uncomfortable with it though, get it checked out by a reputable shop before you purchase it.

 

It really depends on the tune he was using when he was spraying the nitrous. If he had one at all. If it was 100 shot or less then he doesnt need one but anything more then that you would need a tune to add more fuel. Instead of asking if he used a tune ask him what size nozzles? he has. If he says it can be adjusted to 120 or higher THEN ask about the tune. For instance my car runs pretty rich so I believe I would slide with 120 but anything more then that I could be SOL.

Do you mean he blew the motor twice [:-], or he only sprayed theNOS twice?

 

i wouldnt bother with an 01 cobra that has seen nitrous. but if that ur only option, get a compression test done on it, before u purchase it, or a leak down test.
