Sup guys,

I am trying to figure out which headers i want to buy. But i am not sure what is the difference between all of them

What is the difference between

shorties

full length

long tubes

Mid length


I am wanting long tubes but would like to know what the others will do for my car. I know the shorties will give me more torque. Which do you guys think are the best for more hp and torque. would bbk be a good company? I already have a 3 in h pipe from mac. IS this going to affect anything?

Long tubes and full length are the same thing, if you have stock exhaust manifolds your mac h pipe wont work with any headers except shorties, the best headers are always long tubes and you will need a new mid pipe, they are a real pain to install and many will argue if they are worth the money, probably $1000 unless you can do it yourself, In my opinion the gaains fro shorties, mid lenght are not worth it if you are really serious and do everything else all the bolt ons go LT.

Did he really? Well could i modify my h pipe to make the LT fit right. I really want the power but i don't want to buy another mid pipe. i already have th 3in h pipe and it would suck if i had to take it out. But if the LT are the only ones that will give me true power then i guess i will have to buy another mid pipe. Are there any companys you guys reccommend? Thanks

How do you know he lost 20 horse? Did you do a dyno before and after? And was that the only mod he did to show a loss of 20?

That's funny you say that cuz I just picked up a procharger p-1sc. I'm gonna have to look into this more cuz I could definitely save 1k and put that into more suspension.

People who have shorties on their cars. How much hp gained did you get when you dynoed the car. People with LT's how much hp did you gain when you dynoed the car. This will help me out alot.
