Alright, im getting a stroked 3.8l to replace my stock 3.8. The new engine is capabile of 20 pounds of boost, na, or a 200 shot and rated up to 550 HP. They said they could make the flywheel accesible for pretty much whatever transmission i wanted, and i was looking into used/new/built T-56s. I was just wondering how much power these babys can handle before i should worry. For me, il probably stopp adding power around 400 wheel if i can break the addiction.

the T56 will easily handle 400 to the wheels if thats all your doin.

edit: just curious why not upgrade to a v8?

 

stock t-56's are rated to have a torque cap at 450lbs/ft.However, I've seen them go way past these numbers!!!

 

Awesome, i just ordered a new one for 1250 shipped. It should be here soon. And because not only is it more expensive to get a v8, i WANT a fast v6. period. More unique, and one of a kind, and no more bashing sixers. This engine can do what i want and more. 450 to the wheels would make me happy for a while, but il deffinitally be pushing the engine to its limits. Id have much more fun tearing apart a v6 and building my own monster then just buying a cobra.

Dont get me wrong, id cream my jeans if my dad gave me his termie, but id like a just-as-fast sixer more.
