Just bought My 1998 Atlantic Blue Cobra with 36K all stock
Hey guys I am new to the forum but i just wanted to post and let everyone know a little about my 98 Cobra I just bought.
Its a 1998 Atlantic Blue Cobra thats been completely unmolested with 36k on it and everything is completely stock besides the smoke headlights and fog lights, and whats crazy is when you look this car over its so clean its amazing. Heck it even still has the stock BFG Comp T/A's on it and they are in great shape besides a bit of weather checking so im looking into some new tires but havent figured out whats gonna be the best all around traction tire in the rain and snow since this is my new daily drive yet im gonna have to try and find a beater cuz i really dont want to drive it in the snow or salt cuz i know its never seen snow since its soo clean.
I got so lucky to find this car and Im not bragging but Ihave so much respect for Horsepower andI'm Ford through andthrough andI traded my Sonic Blue 2003 F-250 Powerstroke Diesel Crewcab FX4 in on this car since this car I felt was well worth the switch not to tell everyone my life story but I have always wanted a mustang again after having my 92 Notchback a few years back and my mom having a 02 Saleen S-281 convertibale I wanted a mustang again and this was the one. So here in the next couple months I plan on doing a few things but not ruining it. I am sureI will get some great advisedown the road on my car and I thank you and hopefully I make a few new loyal ford guys lol.. Thankx Matt

was your power stroke worth more than the stang? those diesel trucks hold value preety well. if thats the case i would go staigh for a winter car, where are you from by the way?

o my god man good find, i have the same color cobra arnt they sweet looking! a word of advice DONT MOD IT the blue 1998 cobras were the leas produced cobra of that year (only like 500 were made) so if you can keep it gorgeouse looking and unmolested the price of that snake is going to jump ten fold over the next years as people start collecting that **** (just what i think)

Yeah my powerstroke was worth alot more but i only took a small 1800 dollar hit on the truck and the price on the cobra was 14995 out the door, but i thought it was well worth it for the simple fact it was not beaten or changed the owner took great care of the car so it was a no brainer, and my payment went from 580 to 320.
And i think the only mods id do is a SCT tuner and maybe thats it Im trying to decide on a cold air kit but i dont really want to sacrifice any fuel mileage its getting like 20+mpg city and i know if i put a cold air kit on then ill want to do the SVO Side exhaust with the molded curtains painted the same color but im not out to race this i want to take care of it the best i can... I swear on at 1-10 scale this car is a 10 hands down its so clean like he had it in a bubble for 8yrs or so haha thankx guys
