Default Upgrading pistons

I've been considering upgrading my pistons in my car when I go with the 2.6LH KB next year. I've been thinkin about either one of these two...

http://www.lethalperformance.com/pag...0020-over.html

The pistons typically are one of the few weak points of the 03/04 Cobra motors so why not upgrade to some nice forged ones right? I would be getting rings for them so thats a given.

I'll be covering all the other necessary supports mods for this conversion (suspension, driveline, cooling, fuel, etc) so you think this is a good idea too?

Yeah, I meant that the stock ones were forged but it didnt sound like it by my earlier post. Heat is its biggest enemy it seems and with very little clearance... you get piston slap in really high boost or long periods of boost. I think going with the 0.020" bore will work good I hope.

This is a given, you have to clean the cylinder walls out when putting new pistons in... I have .020 CPs and they are quiet...

def a smart choice! I would put in some nice valve guides while the heads are off! Heat strikes them before anything else! Detonation is killer to the pistons
