im going to install a t56 trans on my 99 cobra is there anything else besides replacing cross member and drive shaft any info would behelpfull

 

T56 tranny & bellhousing
03 Cobra Cross-member
03 Cobra Driveshaft (or shorten yours)
03 Cobra Pinion flange (03 driveshaft uses MUCH larger pinion flange)
GM reverse lockout selenoid connector & pigtail, wire to 12v source (or block-off plate to eliminate reverse lockout)
T56 shifter

i think thats it. good time to swap your clutch too.

what kind of rear end ratio do u have??? ur going to have some really long gears if they are still stock...

 

^ forgot that part. it takes 4.10's to = the same combined rear ratio with the T56 as a T3650 w/ 3.27's. This is why I jumped all the way to 4.56s

 

i have 327 but im putting in 410s so i need to put 430s or better to get it in the power band quicker
