RE: t56 trans ?
I think you'd be a little disappointed with 4.30's. Its not going to be a huge improvement over stock gears with T45 tranny.
1st gear in a T56 with 4.56's is going to be very much like a T45 w/ 3.73's.
what are your future plans for your car? If you supercharge it down the road, you wont be able to get any traction at all with these gears. I decided to go with 4.56 while I save for a Kenne Bell, but I have a spare pumpkin with 3.73's I'll swap in when/if I get a power adder. I love the T56/gear combo I have right now though.

How is the Highway cruising? I was gonna go with the 4.56 pretty soon and was wondering how the highway gear is. If my calculations are correct I should be around 57 MPH in 6th gear at 2K with the 4.56's. Sound about right?

RE: t56 trans ?
thats pretty close. I can cruise at 65 w/ rpms around 2300-2400rpms. 75+ the exhaust is getting pretty loud and hard to hear the radio... kinda like an audio-cruise control, so the 4.56's do a good job of keeping me legal.
@ 70mph though, you can drop into 5th and hit right around 3300rpms....... right at the beginning of the power band. If your so inclined its real easy to drop a gear and go from 70 - 100+ real quick!
