Default Shifter for 98 Cobra

Hey guys I've been looking into a shifter for my 98 cobra and I'm thinking of going with the Triax Shifter for my car cuz i like the Pro 5.0 shifters but i just got a price from the local steeda dealer and they told me 140 plus tax for the shifter so do you all think thats a good shifter for my stock 98 cobra any opinions appreciated

$180 for an MGW. Worth the extra $40 IMHO.

Thankx guys I just wanted to get a little feedback on them and what some opinions were on that particular Triax shifter vs. a few others I just want something that is gonna last and have the least amount of problems with breakage or wear overall...

The way I describe it is this... If you're car is a daily street driver (which judging from your other topic, it is), I prefer the MGW. It's a little more smooth and and shorter than the Tri-Ax. If you're going to be a track driver, I prefer the Tri-Ax because it feels extremely solid, but it's a little more notchy. Of course, if you're slamming gears on the track, that matters very little. I have an MGW in both my GT and my Cobra, but have had a Tri-Ax in the GT (which is the same transmission as your Cobra). On my GT I prefer the MGW, on my Cobra, I don't daily drive it so it wouldn't really matter to me, but since I'm not a huge track guy, I still like the MGW.

Yes more reasons to go with MGW, I'm it ordering tomorrow along with a cobra shift ****. And also just look at the night/day difference:
