blown Trans need T-56

i blew my auto trans on my 02 gt (second time)i know cobra's have the 6speed t-56 so does anyone know wat are all the parts included in the swap (auto to manual trans), and trying to find the tranny is hard the only used one i found was with 7k on it for $2000 is that a good price???

u can get a brand new t56 for less than 2300. as far as for the parts to swap from an auto, i don't know. u'll need a lot of things!

they will sell you everything you need as a 'bolt-in' kit. $2900. well, thats from T-5 to T56

short list for youthough:
tranny
shifter (+ boot & shift ****)
crossmember
shortened driveshaft
(or 03 Cobra DS + pinion flange)
clutch
flywheel
pedal assembly
clutch cable assembly
center console from a manual car

not sure if you can use your PCM, or need one from a manual.

oh.... then you will need more gear or a blower, because your new 1st gear will seem like you still had your stock 3.27's.

you might want to post on the general 4.6 board, since you are really doing an auto to manual conversion, and Cobras dont come in auto's. Just substitute the manual components from an 03 Cobra for the T45 componenets in their write-ups.
