Birch and ALL if you wer in my position with an open check book which mods would you make? I dont drag race the car but I do run it al Elkhart Lake Road America 4 to 5 times a year. There is one NSX that runs with me pretty regular and I have passed him several times around 140 MPH but hen he comes out of turn 4 picks me up pretty quickly. I think it has more to do with the damn rev limiter than anything else. 4th gear I can pretty much run out of engine.

It is extremly cool to blow doors on a $100K car with my top down!

You can see the car in the are there any SVT owners in here on page 4 under my name it is a shot on track at 115 MPH.

Ekim,

The speed limiter is there for a pretty damn good reason, the ground effects/tail aren't set up for speeds in excess of 170mph. You can just reprogram your computer to bypass the speed limiter, but do so with caution and upgrade your splitter/tail if your gonna be racing on a track with high speeds.

Open checkbook? I'd upgrade to Kenne Belle, change the injectors, add twin focus fuel pumps, and invest in tire stock. If it were more drag oriented, I'd either change out the IRS for a solid or someone has mentioned that you can change out the axles for stronger ones that can handle higher hp launches.

Oh, I'd also add the KB extreme subframe kit to stiffen up the chassis, especially on a vert.

The KB goes for about $6000 just for the kit. You could also change your Eaton to a Whipple, which costs $3000. One relatively cheap alternative is to send your Eaton off to Apten and have them port it. In the process, they will polish it if you so desire, and they will change the pulley for you. You can also buy a chip with a tune. The porting by itself costs $400, the polishing another $400, and I think the porting (minus polishing) with a chip tune comes in around under a $1000. You can check out Apten's site (use google) to find out more. This combo should put you around ~520hp.

Any hp you add will help with track racing, although more hp doesn't always equate to faster. You would have to take suspension additions for the hp to make a difference. I would definitely add the KB extreme sub kit, this costs around $300, then you need someone to weld it in for you.
