cobra hood vents

Default cobra hood vents

hey guys, to make the hood functional do you have to remove the 2 little vents on the hood? also ive seen some of the vents that were chrome, and others that are black. how do they come stock?

I have an 03 and my vents are functional already! I am thinking about taking the thing that is on the bottom side of the hood off to allow more air flow tho...i dont know what its called but you know what im talking about right?

i just found this website that has billet vents that really open it up. they look really good, but expensive.

I looked at them and me personally i didnt like those hood vents....but thats just me

Not yet i havent looked...i will later tho its bed time for me i have had a long day! I will look in the morning and see if i can find some more....i didnt like thos b/c to me the holes in them are way to big you know? maybe if they made like 6 slots instead of just 3 per vent that would be ok but those are just way to big of a hole for me.....

I removed the underside of my vents... you can really feel the air coming out of it... but like someone already said.. yes they're already functional... you can open up the vents a bit more by removing the bottom of it,
