Default blower pullies

all,
i am looking to change blower pullies. right now im not sure what i have but i know i have belt slippage. another cobra driver is telling me to throw a 2.8 on there with a 2 lb lower and a tuner is just telling me to get a 2.93 with no lower modification. right now my mods are a cat back exhaust, CAI and a C&L pipe. which would be the best? when i dyno'd the car originally it only made 398hp due to the slippage and it was on the rich side. the torque was about 458. whats the best option for me to go. i want some more power but im not sure who's word to take. i dont want to waste an big amount on dyno tuning and be dissapointed with the numbers. any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you everyone

personally i would just throuw a set of Billet flow idelrs on there and get a tighter belt. I ran a 2.76 with idlers and had no slip at all with a 74 5/8 inch belt.

on the dyno sheet it was showing that i was overspinning the blower, i just dont want to get the wrong one. the tuner was suggesting headers but i like the stock ones and im in california and dont have much choice for headers. i feel like their trying to get more money out of me....naturally.

i don't buy thta for a second you dyno sheet can't show overspiing the blower. most run a 2.76-2.81 with a non ported blower and make around 450rwhp. you just need a tighter belt and better belt wrap. the only way you are over spinning tha tthing is if you have a lower pulley on there as well and i don't think that you do.

I agree with Blown SVT. I had a 2.76 upper and an Idler and I put 446 to the ground. I would also upgrade the Heat Exchanger. If you really want to the power you need to port the blower, then throw a lower at it then.
